Another one bites the dust
And another one gone and another one gone… another one bites the dusssst.
I’m a big music fan. I think there are two types of people: those for which music is background music to their lives and those who have theme songs for everything.
I have always been a big music fan. My tastes haven’t changed a lot and I don’t have an incredibly wide taste in music, although I have been known to rock out to Britney while running on the treadmill.
Hey, whatever works.
A generally good day at the office today. Got a lot done and the world didn’t blow up, so I consider that a success.
I didn’t, however, move from my desk from 6:45 AM to 8:30 PM except to hit the restroom a few times, so I don’t have much exciting news to report.
I did end up eating a veggie-filled dinner last night.
Tuna salad with:
- carrot
- red pepper
- zucchini
- celery
- onion
- yellow squash
- cottage cheese
- mayo
- lemon juice, s+p
- packet of water-packed tuna
Awesome.
I also had some grapes and another mini brownie (couldn’t resist).
Today I did things backwards. I had my morning misto, of course.
And then I had soup (same old, same old) for breakfast. It sounded good and it had been defrosting in the fridge all weekend.
Plus leftover fruit bouquet fruit
I had a yogurt (plain, no berries this time) and more fruit for lunch
To indulge my inner 5 year old (and to make the easiest dinner ever since I got home at nearly 9 PM):
Why yes, that IS mac n cheese and peas and applesauce. Surprise, surprise!
And there was a leftover brownie too.
I’m exhausted (sitting on your butt all day will do that to you) and am curling up with the husband and kitties and The Next Iron Chef.
Another Monday gone. Hello Tuesday!
Honestly, your tuna salad rocks the blog world. It always looks better than any other tuna salad I’ve seen pics of! I’m sure it tastes as good as it looks. Mmmm.
Adi,
It’s pretty awesome – you should definitely give it a try. I didn’t eat tuna salad for years and then one day, I had a major craving and have eaten it regularly since. It’s cheap, easy, and tasty!
